My interest in photography started over ten years ago when my parents bought me my first point and shoot camera. I was fascinated by the first snapshots that seemed to freeze time in an instant. Since then, I never stopped taking pictures. I enrolled in photography classes during High School, gaining first recognition with the publication of "Forgotten", an image of a Washington DC homeless person in the book Innocent dreams at the age of 18.
I became interested in pictures power to shape and change the perception of the viewer, and I started to try out different approaches and techniques that underline the specific character and atmosphere of a photo.
